When you began your musical career, you could not afford something as big as a laptop. You chose your first portable, a typewriter. Now you want an instrument capable of recording, editing and composing. So, you bought yourself a laptop computer. And, you lost your beloved tenor sax.
Very often new users tend to choose a reflective instrument. Some examples include those playing the piano, guitar, lute, bass, harp, mandolin, flute and so on. You shouldn't get your hopes up if the instrument is especially shiny, though.A shiny but bad-sounding instrument is found more often than you'd think. Not all instruments' finishes are suitable for recording or listening. If, instead of seeing a shiny instrument in the store, you just saw it in a forest, it would probably be a gloomy day and probably raining. It's important to have a bass that sounds good, not just an instrument that reflects light. You might think that you'd have to throw away a nice instrument just because it isn't a 'perfect' finish.
