I REALLY like the design of this machine. It cuts very smoothly, without skipping or shudders. However, the plastic on the unit is really thin and with regular use, the plastic is starting to split and crack at the corners. I've tried using a number of abrasives to clean the plastic, including q-tips, toothbrushes and toothpaste. It's really ruining the look of the machine, and I'm very disappointed. I can't leave it alone. Is there any way to get this piece of junk into the plastic to knock it out?
I'd like to find a way to fix this. The plastic (plastic type?) is only on the outside of the two front corners, on the bottom of the back panel, and on the top of the front panel. It would be a very time consuming process, and I don't have a large enough area to knock things out with any building instrument. I'm just really worried that if it continues to crack, I'll be fixing an unusable machine. Help?
I just bought a new Seiki KDC-1250. Besides the box being plastic, it seems pretty good so far. The paper shredder is pretty good. I also got a free manual from the factory to learn the setup on it. Is there any special software or extra features I need to do to get a perfect cut from it?
The basic manual is not very user friendly or it is very hard to read. I have tried installing an alternative installable version of SignMaster Pro v3.8.0 and other similar programs like Cadfiler to make sure I am using the right software with this cutter, but I still have difficulty when trying to edit the text files on the disk. d2c66b5586
