Now, FIFA Manager 07 is a game that is designed to be played for hours on end, so it's no surprise that its replay feature is as comprehensive as it is. During a match, replays are available for every single play-off/cup match, and for any pre-match scouting. And what do you do with them? You can watch them again, of course.
To the casual observer, this seems to do little more than create a few different permutations of the same interface, all of which are incredibly dull. However, in a very enlightened and forward-thinking move, EA have gone the extra mile to include personalised messages from every player, which are all carefully placed inside the locker room. Incredibly, these are actually extremely entertaining, and they're a welcome change from the generic 'Tough luck' and 'Good luck' messages from past games. The banter feels just right, and they're not included in any way that's disruptive or too intrusive on the football experience. So, all in all, FIFA Manager 07 certainly has the most personal touch of any football game to date.
As always, the gameplay is what's needed in the smaller details, whether it's the change of tactics or the special powers which the manager receives as he progresses. The draw of FM 2007 is the ability to play the game as you please, rather than having to follow a preset path. This is a fairly limited one, with all the manager's decisions at your fingertips, and you can only make so many. However, the task of controlling the team's fortunes is pleasingly complex, as the manager can choose the age and sex of the player in question, as well as the role he desires. This might mean leaving the youngsters in a position of responsibility or prioritising experience.
FIFA Manager 07 features some of the best gameplay around, but it's just a bit too demanding for a casual football fan to get into. EA's attempt to compete with the masses has certainly backfired, in our opinion.
If another hacker does this, then they will be able to put any game on the ps3 in a matter of minutes! and that means that Sony will be out of the console market for good. We have seen what happens when sony doesn't support games anymore. Nintendo is turning a profit, now it is time for Sony to do the same, or else they are dead.
I don't see the appeal of owning a Sony PS3, and I don't see the value of the PS3 as an entertainment device. Sony has become one of the most untrustworthy companies in the gaming industry in my eyes. 827ec27edc
