The second tab is the mod tab. There you can select which eras you wish to use in the mod. As i'm only providing for star wars battlefront 2, it should be possible to use all eras except for republic and imperial era 3. This is the allen era of course and one of the first eras. I added a fullscreen support for this era. I made sure that the galaxy maps are working which means that there is no stretched content. The use of the mod also changes some values in the configuration file in the Tescosoft folder. Don't forget to press save (10) when you change the values in this tab. There is a third tab. This tab is called graphics. This is the one thing that is especially interesting. It offers you the possibility to add many custom HD background images in. And there are two very important settings that are not found in the quicksettings:
- Graphics Resolution: This defines the effective pixel-count on the screen. 1 uses the fullscreen resolution, 1.5 uses 1.5 times the fullscreen resolution and so on.
- Graphics Scope: This defines the area around the cursor which is used to calculate the distance of an object. A value of 1 means that the whole screen is used for the calculation, 0.5 means that only half is used and so on.
The total file size is around 3.5 gigabytes. This is for all files and all included eras. If you only want to use an era or some mods you can also select the eras you want to use in the settings. If you want to use eras 2, 3 and 4, but not era 1, you can use the settings to exclude those eras. Then you simply have to download the old ones from the same version, which are around 2 gigabytes each.
