I do not have the USB cable program that you said was working. I have tried getting a USB cable program from China (hope for the best), but this program is not compatible with the KG-UVW1P or KG-UVW2P radios because the program only supports the older radios ( KG-UVD1P, KG-UV5D, UVA1, 6D ) and does not work with the VX series radios. I really wish that Baofeng would offer a program like that of Eric from Camping World, it is really easy to use and it works. I don't think you can offer this program because it would defeat the purpose of having an easy to use software. The only other option I can think of is to use the software that Eric from Camping World offers to reprogram the KG-UVW1P, KG-UVW2P but I can't find this software.
I have downloaded your software but it will not work for me either. I have an older version of your software. I have tried to get the radio working in the past but have not been able to do so. I have tried the software that worked for you in the past.
This is the problem that I am having. I would like to purchase the Baofeng BF-888S, but I would like to use the KG-UVW2P radios with it. I have tried getting the KG-UVW2P and it will not program. Maybe it is a matter of time, but I don't want to wait for the KG-UVW2P to work just so I can purchase the Baofeng BF-888S.
